- Media Runner - Recording Options
-
- If you wish to record wave files, simply access the Media Runner and click the
- "Rec" button. The standard Windows recorder application will appear which will
- allow you to record wave files for playback with the Media Runner and for use
- with the CD-ROM and RD Runners.
-
- To use the Windows Recorder, refer to your Windows users manual. Note that a
- microphone and compatible sound board are required to record voices. This is
- useful to record verbal instructions for a specific application and to associate
- the wave file recorded with that application in the CD-Runner CD-ROM or RD Library
- section. This will allow other users to hear the verbal instruction or help
- message before the application is run.
-
- As described in the Playing Media Files help section, it is useful and convenient
- to save and locate all media files into the same directory, and to designate it as
- the Default Media Directory. This will allow the Media Runner to retrieve the
- desired media files as soon as it is run.
